1. Enviromental Policy

NIDEC SANKYO AMERICA CORPORATION  is committed to:

• The prevention of pollution and the protection of the Environment through the reduction of scrap in the manufacturing process.
• To reduce the amount of negative impact we make in the landfills through continual improvements of our business activities, products, services, and all individuals doing work on behalf of NSAC in the manufacturing/marketing of controls for appliances, household products,  service repair of card readers, and molding of plastic components for the automotive industry.
• Meeting all applicable legal, 14001:2004, and other requirements to which we subscribe, which relate to our environmental aspects and restricted material.

2. Environmental Objectives

A) Reduction of Production Scrap ---------------- Decrease average monthly dollar amount 5% by                                                                              March 31, 2010.
